PHASE ONE: DONE!
SO, we have officially started a Teen Mental Health club at the Malden High School! We also have a good amount of people who are in the club and who are interested in helping us make our school a more positive atmosphere. Now all we need to do is to keep things going and make more goals and take more action. Hopefully there are going to be more ideas along the way! :)

Recruiting Freshies
Hey guys! Sadly summer vacation is almost over and it's time to go back to school. But in other news... WE GOT OUR OWN CLUB STARTED AT MHS! We were able to convince our principal and we now have a table at Freshman Orientation where we can recruit freshman coming into the school. We already got a few new people on board and we are hoping to have a lot more! We are also now on Twitter and Facebook! Check us out and like/follow us!

Update
So, our school year is over and our project has been put on a pause. But a few of our members realize that we don't want our project to go to waste since we have put so much effort and care into it. So, naturally we decide to take further steps to make this project even bigger and well known. We are going to first meet up with our principal and create a club that no student has ever created at Malden High. We are going to make a Teen Mental Health club at our school and try to get new members and make this a huge and well known issue in our school, community, and maybe even the whole country! So this is an update with a message that says our project isn't dead, it's just starting up!

Civic's Day!
We presented our project at the Massachusetts State House on May 16th. There were about 400-500 people there and we let everybody in that building know that we mental disorders are not something to take lightly. We ended up winning and award for the "Most Action Leading group"! Check it out!

Our Website!
A few members of our class have also created a BEAUTIFUL website that withholds all our information and what we are all about! This wikispaces allows the world to know what we are trying to do and what our goal is: TO LET PEOPLE KNOW THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS HAVE HELP WHEN THEY NEED IT!
Here is the link to our wiki: http://team-mentalhealth.wikispaces.com/Teen+Education+About+Mental+health.

Writing Letters!
We have been writing letters to adjustment counselers at multiple schools, principals, superintendants, board leaders and eventually the mayor of our city. These letters are just the start of how we plan to put this whole project into action. By contacting all these leaders, we plan to meet with them, tell them our plan to spread awareness of teen mental health and make a difference.
